My apologies for being out of touch for a bit. In California for Jim Rome is Burning and looking forward to the Carter Presidential Library June 16 in Atlanta.

Hi Howard,
Hope you are back. I read your ridiculous article about Tom Brady and Bill Belichick in ESPN magazine. Why do you feel TB & BB should feel any responsibility to some punk co-workers actions. Yes it is a tragedy that happened but as a Pats fan I am glad TB is ready to move on and only wants to win. Would I feel responsible if a co-worker killed somebody? No. Would I have to go to work the next day and do the best I can, yes. Check yourself man.

I read your article in ESPN magazine about the Tampa Bay Devil Rays, and frankly; your analysis is wrong. If baseball were to move TB from the American League East to Central, TB would probably get bankrupt. It is NOT about their success, as you have so succinctly proved in your article. The issue is finances. if you look at their best crowds, (http://www.baseball-reference.com/teams/TBR/2013-schedule-scores.shtml) at the top are all those games against... American League East power houses such as the Yankees and the Red Sox. Some of their worse attendance games? KC and Detroit.

I have thoughts...

At Broadside Bookshop in Northampton, talking about The Heritage. Full house, great questions...sold a bunch of books, too. Bonus! Thank you...
